energy-related calls under the Green Deal
On 21 October 2020, two separate webinars will be organized on energy-related calls under the Green Deal.
The Green Deal Call will fund large scale demonstration projects in the fields of Clean, Affordable and Secure Energy (Area 2) and Energy and Resource Efficient Buildings (Area 4). Only a small number of large projects will be funded.
In the morning between 10:00-11:30 (CET) the Israeli Ministry of Energy in collaboration with ISERD will organize a partner collaboration energy workshop called:
“Clean Energy & Ecosystems in light of European GreenDeal”
It includes three workshops on the topics related to “Energy fields” – including:
- Innovative land-based and offshore renewable energy
- Energy-efficient buildings
- Sustainable and smart mobility
- Circular economy
In the workshop participants are invited to present their own research interests, expertise, and cooperation ideas in a short pitch presentation (max. 3 minutes).

ONLINE BROKERAGE SESSION
Pitch your organisation’s capability for the Green Deal Call topics related to energy
In the afternoon the C-Energy 2020 project (http://www.c-energy2020.eu/) network of Energy NCPs organizes an online brokerage session on the Green Deal Call in the afternoon from 14.00 to 15.30 CEST which is free to attend.
It is an opportunity to advertise your relevant capability to proposal coordinators. This event is aimed at SMEs with specialisms that are relevant to the following Call topics.
LC-GD-2-1-2020: Innovative land-based and offshore renewable energy technologies and their integration into the energy system
LC-GD-2-2-2020: Develop and demonstrate a 100 MW electrolyzer upscaling the link between renewables and commercial/industrial applications
LC-GD-2-3-2020: Accelerating the green transition and energy access Partnership with Africa
LC-GD-4-1-2020: Building and renovating in energy and resource-efficient way
The purpose of the online brokerage is to:
- Present a brief overview of the Call topics
- Give organisations an opportunity to find partners through a 3-minute pitch (template will be provided)
